ProTrainer (“we”) provides a dog training journal, community features, and optional Ask Coach. This policy describes what we collect and why. The service is operated from Sweden and follows applicable EU data protection law (GDPR).
We do not collect optional data for separate AI model training or model-improvement datasets.
Data is stored in Google Firebase (EU/US regions per Google’s infrastructure). Ask Coach requests may be processed by OpenAI through our backend when you use that feature. Payment processors receive only data required for billing.
We keep your data while your account is active. You may schedule account deletion in the app or at /delete-account on this site. Deletion is scheduled after confirmation; you can cancel by signing in again before the deadline stated in the app.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or other GDPR rights by contacting us. You can manage notification preferences in Settings.
We use authentication, Firestore security rules, and backend validation for sensitive actions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
The service is not directed at children under 13 without parental consent.
We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected here and in the app.
